L&Q are delighted to be shortlisted for Best Marketing Campaign in the Residential Regeneration category at the Property Marketing Awards 2018!

The Property Marketing Awards celebrate the year’s most effective, innovative and creative marketing campaigns.

A joint venture between L&Q and The Anderson Group, The Quarry sees the transformation of the disused Erith Quarry into a thriving new community, offering 600 contemporary homes and a new school set within extensive ecologically landscaped grounds in the most architecturally stimulating of environments.

Ahead of and throughout the initial launch, a highly innovative, multi-platform marketing campaign was led on social media, primarily focusing on thought-provoking video content. Making the community part of the marketing strategy, content was generated through a wide range of community activity, research and interviews. Content shared on The Quarry’s dedicated social media channels generated a strong following and consistent interaction from both local residents and the wider community.

The success of the campaign was a driving force in impressive sales figures achieved for Phase 1 – all units in the first phase were sold off-plan. In just over a year, The Quarry has successfully rebranded a disused and unloved corner of outer London as “the perfect place to lay down your foundations”.
