April has proven to be a hugely successful month for L&Q, with wins at The Transform Awards, First Time Buyer Awards and the Environment & Energy Awards.

Kicking off the winning spree on the 21st of April with a win at The Transform Awards, L&Q was recognised for its excellence in branding and brand development with The Schoolyard. Crowned as the overall gold winner in the Best Visual Identity in Property sector, The City Mills followed closely behind placing silver in the same category.

Running for the past six years in Europe, last year the Transform Awards were also established in the Middle East North Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. Brittany Golob, editor of Transform magazine, says, “The companies shortlisted are those that truly understand the need for a sustainable, viable and strategic brand. They share a commitment to creating the best brand for a company’s stakeholders.”

Next up, on the 23rd of April L&Q & EnergySave were highly commended at the Environment & Energy Awards. This is a huge achievement considering these awards are open to all industries; winners included the like of B&Q, ASDA and Yorkshire Water. The judges commented: “We wish to give a highly commended award to an organisation whose innovative entry and commitment to their project impressed the judges to a level where they wish to award a ‘highly commended’ to recognise their efforts. Well done L&Q!”

And finally we are delighted to announce that The Schoolyard was awarded Best Show Home at the First Time Buyer Awards on Friday 24th of April, beating off stiff competition to take home the victory. We were also highly commended for Best Housing Alliance with Taylor Wimpey East London.
