Shared Ownership Week proved a great success for Housing Associations & purchasers across London. Generating almost 4,000 website hits and over 400 registrations on the L&Q PricedIn site, along with a huge increase in people interacting via our social media pages – taking our Facebook following to over 2,500 – we are delighted with the positive impact the week has had on people’s views of Shared Ownership and L&Q.

Throughout the week, as some of you may have spotted, L&Q featured heavily in supplements such as the Metro and City AM. The weeks’ Timeout edition featured Jerome Geoghegan, Group Director, explaining what Shared Ownership is and why it’s making a positive difference. In addition to this, Lucy Chitty, Assistant Director Sales was interviewed on BBC London Radio to kick-off the week and highlight how Shared Ownership really works.

During the week, some L&Q purchasers shared their buying experience. Pete who bought a one-bedroom apartment at The City Mills, Haggerston said: “L&Q were so helpful at every stage of the moving process. I had so many odd questions but these were all answered nobody at work even noticed I was buying a flat as I was so relaxed! I’m actually saving money compared to if I was renting and I have a home to really be proud of.”

Pop up clinics successfully educated members of the public about how to get on the property ladder with Shared Ownership. If you missed the chance to meet with the Marketing & Sales teams, you can watch our collection of helpful films about Shared Ownership to find out more.
