L&Q selected as finalists for three National Housing Awards!
Three of our developments have been shortlisted in two categories at the NHAs.
The National Housing Awards returns for a 12th year to celebrate excellence in home ownership. Hosted by comedian Shappi Khorsandi the ceremony will take place on September 6th at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London where winners will be announced.
The Quarry has been shortlisted for the Best Marketing Campaign; this award recognises excellence in marketing a mixed tenure development. The joint venture between L&Q and The Andersons Group, will offer 600 two, three and four bedroom contemporary homes and a state-of-the-art primary school in Erith, Bexley.
Additionally, Acton Gardens and Weavers Quarter have both been nominated for Best Regeneration Project; this award is for the most significant contribution made to neighbourhood regeneration through the use of affordable home ownership.
One of the capital’s most ambitious regeneration projects, Weavers Quarter – a pioneering partnership between L&Q and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, will see the eastern side of the Gascoigne Estate in Barking, East London, transformed into a sustainable and thriving community.
Acton Gardens, a joint venture between L&Q and Countryside, is a dynamic development in West London that is transforming the neighbourhood of Acton. When complete, the development will be home to over 2,800 residents who will be a part of a new, integrated and continuously growing community.
